Eight Centuries - the Great Andalusi Journey
Madrid to Cordoba
Depart for Cordoba. Visit the Mosque-Cathedral as a major monument of Islamic civilisation in Iberia, then walk through the old city, Roman Bridge and Calahorra area. Prayer is scheduled at a functioning mosque or suitable prayer space. Halal lunch and dinner.
Caliphal Cordoba
Visit Madinat al-Zahra and continue with a deeper exploration of Cordoba's historic centre, city gates, old urban fabric and selected museum or interpretation spaces. The Muslim guide explains the Umayyad emirate and caliphate, scholarship, architecture and daily life. 100% halal meals throughout the day.
Cordoba to Seville
Drive to Seville. Guided visit to the Royal Alcazar, Santa Cruz, the Giralda and former Almohad precinct, the Guadalquivir riverfront and Torre del Oro. Halal meals and prayer stop included.
Seville in Depth
Visit Plaza de Espana, Maria Luisa Park, historic riverfront and selected old-city quarters. Additional storytelling focuses on Almohad Seville, maritime trade and later Mudejar continuity. Time for prayer, halal lunch and halal dinner.
Seville to Ronda and Malaga
Travel through Andalusia to Ronda. Visit Puente Nuevo, the historic medina area, city walls and Arab Baths when open. Continue to Malaga for a sunset walk through the centre and port. 100% halal meals included.
Malaga to Granada
Visit Malaga's Alcazaba and Gibralfaro, then continue to Granada. Explore the Albaicin, Alcaiceria, Carrera del Darro and Mirador de San Nicolas. Prayer arranged at the Great Mosque of Granada or another suitable prayer location. Halal dinner.
Nasrid Granada
Full-day specialist visit to the Alhambra, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife. Free time later for shopping, tea houses or an optional hammam treatment. Included meals are 100% halal.
Granada to Toledo and Madrid
Early departure to Toledo. Visit Cristo de la Luz/former Bab al-Mardum Mosque, viewpoints and the medieval old city, then continue to Madrid. Farewell halal dinner and overnight.
Madrid Islamic Heritage and Departure
Explore the Arab wall and the origins of Mayrit if flight timing allows. Prayer stop and halal meal according to departure schedule, followed by private transfer to Madrid Airport in the latest-model premium air-conditioned vehicle.
